March Meeting Recap

Below is a report of our March 20 pen club meeting by Mike Green.

  • There were 25 present at the meeting.
  • A draft copy of new newsletter (editor; Mary Brodd, assistant; Terry Bentley) was available and passed around for viewing.
  • Wet Paint donated $200 to our club as a thank you. They are now honorary members.
  • Mikayla Jackson at “White Bear Pens” gave an excellent presentation on her pen-making process. Below are some photos from the meeting complements of Alex Jarvis.

The upcoming meeting is scheduled for April 17th, featuring Terry Bentley as the speaker, who will demonstrate a fascinating ink painting technique.

    Hello pen friends, I’d be interested in attending one of your gatherings, possibly the April 17th, May I be included in the notifications if it is an open event?

      Hi Susan, I will pass your email address along to our President, Francis, who will include you in future mailings. You are welcome to attend the next meeting on the 17th. Keep an eye out here for any announcements on the meeting. I would suggest that if you want to attend, that you do so. Directions are on the right side of the website.

        Also, just watched David, (Figboot on Pens) and he had lovely things to say about Mikayla’s pens when he saw her table at the Atlanta Pen show. How nice!
